Answer for question 3

3. What is the current gun control like in America?

Compaired to other countries, America is said that it has some of the most relaxing gun laws in the world. While many countries mark low gun homicide rate within 10 per 1 million people, The United States marked 29.7 per1 million people.

The graph below shows the rate of civilians gun per capita around the world. America marked 88.8 guns per 100 people, which is quite high compaired to other countries.

As you can see from the information above, it is obvious that there are many loop-holes in the current laws in America. There are typically background checks by having the FBI check the person's crime records, mental health, and other factors to see whether it is possible to sell someone a gun. People who are underage (under 18 for rifles and shot guns, under 21 for other guns), accused for a crime which would be imprisoned for more than an year, has a mental issue would usually fail this backgroundcheck, but since private deals do not require background checks, it is easy for many people to obtain a gun.
