What kind of people support guns?

According to Per Research center survey, there is more support for gun rights than gun controls right now in America. 52% of Americans think it is more important to protect the right to have guns.
Also there are a lot of groups and associations that support guns, and they are very powerful in terms of political influence.
The 2 most famous gun supporting groups, which are The Rifle Association(NRA) and Gun Owners of America(GOA).

These organizations argue that if more people had guns, the number of shootings and attacks and other incidents would fall because now everyone has an equal force.
